On 22nd June 2024, the High Commissioner, Ekitela Moru led the High Commission Staff to participate in a tree planting exercise at Raja Musa Forest Reserve on the World Rain Forest Day Celebration organized by Selangor State Forest Department in partnership with Global Environment Centre and sponsored by HSBC Bank Malaysia. In his remarks, the High Commissioner acknowledged that the exercise resonates well with Kenya's National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign spearheaded by H.E. the President as the African champion on global climate change action.
