On 27th March 2023, H.E. the High Commissioner, Amb. Francis Muhoro paid a courtesy call on the Undersecretary for Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Mr. Ahmad Irham Ikmal Hisham, at the Ministry’s Headquarters. The meeting discussed bilateral issues between Kenya and Malaysia among them the outcomes of the recent successfully concluded Kenya- Malaysia Trade Mission held in Nairobi from 13-18th March, 2023 which provided an opportunity to strengthen business ties in wide ranging sectors for mutual benefit of the two countries; the Second Session of Bilateral Cooperation Mechanism (BCM) scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur this year, at a date to be mutually agreed; Pending Frameworks for cooperation as well as consular issues.
