On 12th December 2025, the High Commissioner, Ekitela Moru, led the Mission staff in hosting the 62nd Jamhuri Day Anniversary at the InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The celebration was graced by Hon. Datuk Seri Dr. Haji Dzulkefly bin Ahmad, Minister of Health of Malaysia as the Chief Guest. The function concurrently commemorated 60 years of diplomatic relations between Kenya and Malaysia.
