On 12th March, 2025, the High Commissioner, Ekitela Moru, met with Mr. R. Suresh Kumar, Under Secretary for Africa Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and exchanged views on enhancing bilateral relations as the two countries commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations.
