On 29th May 2025, the High Commissioner, Ekitela Moru, led the High Commission team to join fellow African missions in Kuala Lumpur in celebrating Africa Day 2025. It was an epic show of the richness of African culture, cuisine, and business opportunities. The Chief Guest was Hon. Datuk Mohamad Bin Al-Amin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Malaysia.
