Welcome to the official website of the Kenya High Commission in Kuala Lumpur. We sincerely hope that you will find the website and its links useful for getting news and information about Kenya, with particular attention to the Government, consular services, trade and investment opportunities, travel and tourism, as well as bilateral relations with the Federation of Malaysia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Indonesia and the State of Brunei Darussalam.

Our mission is to promote and enhance Kenya’s bilateral relations with the Federation of Malaysia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Indonesia and the State of Brunei Darussalam through effective bilateral diplomatic engagements.

The Mission will pursue Kenya’s Foreign Policy and the national development agenda-Vision 2030 in its engagements. The Kenya Vision 2030 aims to transform Kenya into a newly industrializing, middle-income country providing a high quality of life to all its citizens by 2030 in a clean and secure environment. To this extent, it is the wish of the mission to keep investors interested to invest in Kenya, informed on the investment the many opportunities accruing pursuant to the delivery of the Vision 2030 commitments.

The Mission also projects and promotes Kenya as a leading tourist destination and provides consular services to Kenya nationals, Malaysians and other citizens from other countries living in Malaysia as well as citizens of countries of accreditation.

This website also provide links to different sectors (public and private) and general information on Kenya, as well as information on economic, political, social, and cultural factors. About the High Commission

The Mission’s mandate is to articulate and implement Kenya’s foreign policy in countries of accreditation. Our foreign policy objective include promoting Kenya’s national interests and image, strengthening economic diplomacy, promoting peace and environmental diplomacy and providing consular services.

The Mission is currently staffed with five (6) home-based officers and six (6) local staff.


To contribute to the implementation of Kenya’s diplomatic and foreign policy goals through bilateral and multilateral engagements.


To be a mission of choice in nurturing, protecting and projecting Kenya’s national interests in South East Asia..


To create, preserve good diplomatic environment through quality engagements with stakeholders for the betterment of diplomatic relations between Kenya and Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Brunei.
