Valid Travel Document - to be submitted with the application.
Duly completed visa application form, submitted in duplicate.
Two passport size pictures (full face showing both ears). Computer generated pictures are unacceptable.
Two separate Banker Check, Cash or Money Order in the amounts of :-
US$ 10.00 (non- refundable) for Visa Application fee.
US$ 50.00 for Visa Processing fee.
Personal Checks are not acceptable.
A certified self addressed stamped envelope for the return of your passport(s) i.e. Express Mail, Certified Mail or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
The envelope should have sufficient return postage.
Any application not meeting the above requirements will be considered INCOMPLETE and will remain unprocessed.
Please Note :
A visa is required prior to entry into Kenya.
Visa applications for Travel Document Holders are received at the High Commission and forwarded to Department of Immigration Headquarters in Nairobi for processing.
The processing period takes approximately three months.
Determination of delivery of mail to the High Commission should be done through the tracking system of the relevant mailing service used and not by telephone.
Applicants must allow for the three months to elapse from the date the application was received at the High Commission before they can follow up of their individual cases.
Telephone queries must be made by the applicant only. Third party queries will not be entertained.
There is no expedited service for visa applications for Travel Document holders.
A single journey visa is usually issued valid for six months from the date of issue.
Requests for multiple journey visas must be applied for, in person, at the Department of Immigration Headquarters in Nairobi.

Any application not meeting the above requirements will be considered INCOMPLETE and will not be acted upon.
Vaccination Certificate
There are no mandatory immunizations required for Malaysian residents wishing to visit Kenya. However, immunization against typhoid, yellow fever and cholera are recommended.
Anti- Malaria Pills should be taken particularly if the visitors will be traveling to the Western and Coastal regions of Kenya.
License for pets is required.

The employer in Kenya should apply for the Entry Work Permit from the Principal Immigration Officer whose address is P.O Box 30191, Nairobi.

Apply for a Class K permit directly to the Principal Immigration Officer.
Do I send money to the Principal Immigration Office with the application form?

No. The Immigration Office will let you know when and how much to pay.

Is the High Commission the only place a traveler can get a visa?

No. Any visitor to Kenya (except from the countries listed under Referred Visas) may be issued with a visa at any port of entry to Kenya provided they meet the usual Immigration formalities.

The visa endorsement in a passport, does it allow a visitor to stay in Kenya?
A.
No, in addition to the visa endorsement, the visitor is issued with a visitor's pass free of charge at the port of entry. The visitor's pass gives the period of time the visitor should stay in the country, with a maximum of 3 months.

If a visitor has a valid visitor's pass and visits Tanzania or Uganda, then returns to Kenya within the validity, would they need another visa?
