Requirements
VISA REQUIREMENTS
- Visa application form V
- Passport Valid for at least Six Months
- Two Passport size Photos
- Visa fees:
- i. RM 150( USD$50) for single entry visa (Business or Tourism)
- ii. RM 300 (USD$100) –Multiple entry visa
- iii. RM 60 (USD$20)–Transit visa.
- iv. RM 30 (USD$ 10) administrative fee-referral visa(non refundable)
- Travel itinerary
- Supporting letter e.g. letter from company or Invitation letter for business visits. or
- Hotel bookings/details about places to visit if going as tourist.
Note
1. Consular office is open Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 12.30.
2. Visa processing takes two days (Except referral and multiple visas).
3. There are no expedited services for referral and multiple visas.
Personal Checks are not acceptable.
A certified self addressed stamped envelope for the return of your passport(s) i.e. Express Mail, Certified Mail or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
The envelope should have sufficient return postage.
Any application not meeting the above requirements will be considered INCOMPLETE and will remain unprocessed.
Please Note :
A visa is required prior to entry into Kenya.
Visa applications for Travel Document Holders are received at the High Commission and forwarded to Department of Immigration Headquarters in Nairobi for processing.
The processing period takes approximately three months.
Determination of delivery of mail to the High Commission should be done through the tracking system of the relevant mailing service used and not by telephone.
Applicants must allow for the three months to elapse from the date the application was received at the High Commission before they can follow up of their individual cases.
Telephone queries must be made by the applicant only. Third party queries will not be entertained.
There is no expedited service for visa applications for Travel Document holders.
A single journey visa is usually issued valid for six months from the date of issue.
Requests for multiple journey visas must be applied for, in person, at the Department of Immigration Headquarters in Nairobi.
